Darrell *DJ* Johnson's Obituary
Darrell DJ E. Johnson, age 65, of Waupaca, WI , passed away Sunday, November 9th, 2008 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in the Town of Deer Creek, Wisconsin on July 6, 1943, the son of John Hoffmann and Hazel (Reimer) Redman. Darrell enlisted in the United States Air Force and served his country during the Vietman War. He married Judith Andersen on April 14, 1976 in Sarasota, Florida. Darrell owned a garage door and opener business: Johnson Enterprises, Inc. He is survived by Wife: Judith Johnson, Waupaca; Daughters: Melissa (Scott) Serwe, Richland Center, WI; Amanda Johnson, Menasha, WI; Granddaughter: Madeline Serwe; Brother: Wayne (Darlene) Johnson, Waupaca, WI; Sister: Karen (Jerry) Reimer, Medford, WI. Darrell is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his Parents; Brother, Walter Hoffmann; and Step-father, Burnett Redman. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, November 14, 2008 at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, with Reverend Nate Liedtke officiating. Interment will be in Lakeside Memorial Park in Waupaca. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the funeral home and on Friday one hour prior to the service. A memorial has been established in Darrell's name.
