David J. DeBolt's Obituary
David J DeBolt age 73 of Waupaca passed away on Friday May 23, 2014. David was born on March 30, 1941 the son of George and Elizabeth (Peacock) DeBolt Watson. David married Kristy Malchow on June 26, 1970. David enjoyed playing guitar, caring for and feeding birds, teaching art lessons at the Waupaca Senior Center, reading mysteries (especially Parker and McBain), golfing, traveling (especially to the Southwest U.S.), napping with his cat Puddin, and meeting his friends for coffee on Main St.
David is survived by his wife Kristy DeBolt of Waupaca, WI; his daughters Annette (Frank) Reiter of St. Petersburg, FL and Susan (Matt Wysocki) DeBolt of Knapp, WI; his granddaughter Emily Reiter of St. Petersburg, Fl; his brother Rev. Joseph (Donna) DeBolt of Kingman, AZ many other relatives and friends.
David was preceded in death by his parents George and Elizabeth DeBolt Watson, and his step father Curtis Watson.
Per David’s wishes no services will be held. The family would appreciate any memorials made to the Waupaca Fine Arts Festival in his name.
