David W. Elandt's Obituary
David W. Elandt - age 67 - of King, WI - formerly of Oshkosh, WI - passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, WI. He was born on April 30, 1947 in Appleton, WI, the son of William and Harriet (Olson) Elandt.
David had served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He had been employed with Oshkosh Truck in Oshkosh, WI for about 30 years, retiring as a manufacturing supervisor. He was an avid reader.
David is survived by his sister: Sally (Marvin) Jacobson of Wild Rose, WI, and two nephews: William (Kristen) Jacobson of Belfast, ME, and Bruce (Ashley Sisoris) Jacobson of River Falls, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A military graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Graceland Cemetery in Clintonville, WI with the Rev. Brian Crocker, Pastor - Christus Lutheran Church, Clintonville, WI, officiating. Memorials can be directed to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Foundation in memory of David W. Elandt. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
