David J. Davies, age 68, of Waupaca, WI passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at his residence. David was born on September 26, 1942 to Richard and Margaret (Doyle) Davies in Waupaca. David served in the National Guards for 6 years. He married Sandra Lauten on October 3, 1964 in Waupaca. David worked for Kimberly Clark for 38 years before retirement. He enjoyed golfing, watching his favorite soap “Young and the Restless”, being with his family and going to restaurants. David is survived by his wife, Sandra Davies, Waupaca, WI; son, Jason (Sarah) Davies, Waupaca, WI; daughter, Lori (Kirk) Nielsen, Waupaca, WI; brother, James (Sandra) Davies, Montello, WI; granddaughter, Kristina Nielsen, Waupaca, WI; grandson, Brandon Nielsen, Waupaca, WI, great granddaughters, Zoe and Willow Nielsen, Waupaca, WI; numerous nieces and nephews. David is preceded in death by his parents; and 2 brothers, Richard and Danny Davies. A private burial will be held at Wolf River Cemetery in Fremont at a later date. Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
