David R. Dombrowski's Obituary
David R. Dombrowski, age 59, of Amherst Jct., WI., passed away on Tuesday, June 9th, 2009 at his home surrounded by his loving family and faithful canine friend, Tigger. He was born in Stevens Point, WI., on October 29, 1949, a son of the late Nickolas and Romona (Firkus) Dombrowski. He married Karen Bicknase on July 19, 1969 in Amherst. She survives. David was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Amherst. He retired last year from Stuczynski Trucking. Prior to that, he had worked for Tomorrow Valley Co-op for 33 years. David loved hunting, fishing, casino gambling and playing cards. Calvary, WI; Darlene (Jim) Jakusz, Amherst Jct., WI; Doris Fisher, Green Bay, WI; Donna Dombrowski, Amherst Jct., WI; Dottie O'Neill, Amherst Jct., WI; Darol (Joyce) Dombrowski, Amherst Jct., WI; Debra Janz, Appleton, WI; Duane (Ann Marie) Dombrowski, Amherst Jct., WI. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. David was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Angeline Dombrowski and a niece, Rebecca Pacocha. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. James Catholic Church in Amherst at 11 AM on Friday, June 12th, 2009, with Father Robert Pedretti officiating. Interment will be held at St. James Catholic Cemetery, Amherst. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 11th from 4 until 7 PM at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst, with a Rosary Service at 6:30 PM. Visitation also on Friday, from 10 AM until the time of service at the church.
