Dean P. Riley Sr.'s Obituary
Dean P. Riley, Sr. age 78, of Waupaca, WI passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Crossroads Care Center in Waupaca. Dean was born in Stevens Point on December 23, 1938, the son of the late Anthony and Edna (Oestrich) Riley. Dean was a crane operator at Waupaca Foundry for years. He is a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Waupaca. Dean is survived by his children: Marie Thompson, Florence, WI; David (Dawn) Riley, Freedom, WI; Louise (Richard) Niemuth, Appleton, WI; Loretta (Rudy) McKinny, Mesa, AZ; Dan Riley, Waupaca, WI; Tom (Jane) Riley, Waupaca, WI; Dean "Pat" (Jennifer) Riley Jr., Waupaca, WI; Tina (Jeremy) Trinrud, Waupaca, WI; 12 grandchildren: 7 great grandchildren: his sisters: Nedra Christensen, Waupaca, WI; Sharon (Gerald) Kurzynski, Amherst, WI and his brother: Richard Riley, Eastman, Georgia. He is also survived by nieces and nephews. Dean was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Doris Riley, his brother & sister-in-law, Ronald and Mary Ellen Riley, his sister & brother-in-law, Mary and Bill Helbach, a daughter-in-law, Vicki Riley and a brother-in-law, Bill Christensen. The Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, July 6 at 11 AM at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, Waupaca with Father Amalraj Roche & Father James Kurzynski, presiding. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery, Town of Lanark, Portage County. Visitation will be on Wednesday evening from 4 to 8 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca. There will be a prayer service at 8 PM Wednesday evening and the visitation will continue on Thursday morning from 10 AM until the time of mass at the church.
