Deborah Rasmussen's Obituary
Deborah (Debbie) J.Rasmussen, age 70, of Waupaca, WI, died Tuesday, March 7th, 2006 while in the company of family members at Bethany Home. Debbie was born in Waupaca, WI on June 10, 1935, the daughter of the late David and Beatrice (Minton) Taber. Debbie married Fred Rasmussen Jr. December 11, 1954 in Waupaca, WI. She was a school crossing guard for 27 years and a jailer for Waupaca County for over twelve years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church Waupaca. She is survived by her husband: Fred, Waupaca, WI; two daughters: Brenda (Bill) Schnese, Dublin, Ohio; Stephanie (Doug) Pohl, Waupaca, WI; five grandchildren, David, Alex, and Erik Schnese, Sam and Nora Pohl; three brothers: Tom (Jacci) Taber, Waupaca, WI; Jerry (Janet) Taber, Waupaca, WI; and Ward (Joan) Fox, Waupaca, WI. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Debbie was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial Service will be at First United Methodist Church, Waupaca, WI at 1 PM on Saturday, March 11th, with Reverend Cathy J.N. Weigand officiating. Interment of cremains will be in the Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Town of Farmington, WI. Memorial Visitation will be Friday, March 10 from 5 - 8 PM at Holly Funeral Home. A memorial has been established in Debbie's name for the 1st United Methodist Church.
