Delyse A. Nelson's Obituary
Delyse A. Nelson, age 59, of Waupaca, WI, passed away on Friday, January 4th, 2019 at her residence, after a brief illness. She was born in Waupaca, on September 14, 1959, a daughter of the late Donald and Delores (Gunsten) Fredrickson.
Delyse married Kent Nelson on June 4, 1983 in Waupaca. She worked at Waupaca County Courthouse for 38 years. Delyse was a Life Member of the Waupaca Fire Department Women's Auxiliary. She enjoyed golf, bowling, gardening, knitting, watching the Packers and Brewers.
Survivors include her Husband: Kent Nelson, Waupaca, WI; Children: Joseph (Whitney) Nelson, North Prairie, WI; Timothy Nelson, Waupaca, WI; Sister: Dacia (Special Friend-Andy Replogle) Fredrickson, Waupaca, WI; Brother: Darand Fredrickson, Waupaca, WI; Father-in-law and Mother-in-law: Kenneth and Kathleen Nelson, Waupaca, WI. She is further survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents and her dog - Max.
Funeral Services will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca at 11 AM on Wednesday, January 16th, 2019, with Pastor Jeffrey S. Fletcher, officiating. Interment will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, from 4 until 8 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca and on Wednesday, from 10 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
