Dennis D. Durrant's Obituary
Dennis D. Durrant - age 66 - of Weyauwega, WI - passed away unexpectedly of October 7, 2014. He was born on February 2, 1948 in Waupaca, WI, the son of William and Genevieve (Zawacki) Durrant. He married Barbara Howe on July 5, 1980 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca and she preceded him in death on March 24, 2014.
Dennis is survived by his son: Christopher Durrant of Waupaca, sisters: Sandra Durrant, Leslie Kaquatosh, and Sharon Frasier all of Clintonville, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife: Barbara, his parents, a brother: Robert Durrant, a sister: Linda Smith, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Dennis was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca. He had been employed as a foreman with Service King Janitorial Services prior to his retirement. He had also been employed at the former Waupaca County Farm near Weyauwega for many years. Dennis had also served in the U.S. Army.
A funeral service will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI on Monday, October 13, 2014 at 11:00 AM with the Reverend Andy Behrendt - Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Oakwood Cemetery in Weyauwega, WI. A visitation will be held at the Holly Funeral Home on Monday morning from 10:00 - 11:00 AM. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
