Dennis R. Dunham's Obituary
Dennis R. Dunham, age 82, of the Wisconsin Veterans Home passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at the Veterans Home. Dennis was born in Nekoosa, WI on June 13, 1927, the son of the late Dennis and Molly (Muir) Dunham. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He worked for many years at Almet Lawnlite, Inc.
Dennis is survived by his children: Dennis E. (Jeanne) Dunham, Mosinee, WI; Danny Dunham, Rhinelander, WI; Diane (Brent) Feltheim, Waupaca, WI; Denine Vanderbilt, Reedsburg, WI; Kevin Dunham, Wisconsin Dells, WI and Shauna Strampe, Reedsburg, WI. Also surviving are eighteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and seven sisters.
Funeral Services will be on Friday, December 4 at 2 PM at the Wisconsin Veterans Home-Olson Hall Chapel, King, WI with Pastor Rich Engle, officiating. Interment of cremains will be in the Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, King, WI. Visitation will be on Friday from 1 to 2 PM at the Olson Hall Chapel. Holly Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
