Mrs. Dixie L. Edgren's Obituary
Dixie L. Edgren, age 77, of Wild Rose, WI passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Wisconsin Veterans Home, King, WI. Dixie was born in Wild Rose on April 2, 1937, the daughter of the late Howard and Martha (Lee) Merryfield. On May 5, 1956, Dixie married Albert A. Edgren in Madison and he preceded her in death on July 23, 2008. She is survived by her children: David (Lori) Edgren, Gwinn, MI; Wayne Edgren, Princeton, WI; Kenneth (Patti) Edgren, Almond, WI; James (Elaine) Edgren, Madison, WI; Karen Hughes, Platteville, WI and Jean Haerle, Oregon, WI; her 17 grandchildren; her 8 great grandchildren and her brother: Dan (Sharon) Merryfield, Wild Rose, WI. Dixie was also preceded in death by her grandson, Jacob. Funeral Services will be on Monday, March 16 at 11 AM at the Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose with Chaplain Rich Engle, officiating. Burial will follow in the Wild Rose Union Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday afternoon from 3 to 7 PM at the funeral home in Wild Rose.
