Dolores M. Trzebiatowski's Obituary
Our mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Dolores M. Trzebiatowski, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. She resided at Whispering Pines in Plover since September 2017.
Dolores was born in rural Amherst on May 28, 1936, the daughter of August and Anastasia (Glodowski) Shulfer. Dolores lived all her childhood and teen years on the family farm and shared her home with a very good friend, Irene Hahn, until adulthood separated them.
After becoming a registered nurse in 1957, Dolores was wed to Irvin Trzebiatowski on November 8, 1958. Irvin passed away on March 22, 2013.
Dolores lived her entire life close to home. Her “career” was being a wife to Irvin, mother to their three sons, and being a homemaker. She left us with many good memories.
Together Irvin and Dolores raised three sons. Nick (Gina) Trzebiatowski of Amherst and their children Beth Ann Bugni (her children Jayden, LayLa, & Jack), Matthew Trzebiatowski, and Andrew (Teagan) Trzebiatowski. Alex (Marcia) Trzebiatowski of Amherst and their children Tracy Thompson and Kelly Reynolds. Karl Trzebiatowski August of Plover.
She was preceded in death by her parents August and Anastasia “Stella” Shulfer; her husband Irvin Trzebiatowski; a daughter-in-law Christine August, and her step-sister Irene (nee: Hahn) Zynda.
A Funeral Mass for Dolores will be on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church – Fancher in Amherst, WI. Father Jerzy Rebacz will preside. A visitation will be held on Tuesday morning from 9:00 – 10:30 AM at the church. Burial will follow the mass at the parish cemetery.
