Donald Aldrich's Obituary
Donald A. Aldrich, age 79, of Custer, WI, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2012 at University Hospital, Madison, WI, surrounded by his family. He was born in Stevens Point, on February 21, 1933, a son of the late Lyle and Leona (Skenadore) Aldrich. He married Faith Charity Hope, they later divorced. He married Christine K. Kuzynski, they later divorced. Donald then married Judith A. Hoffman on May 6, 2006 in Stevens Point. Donald was a member of the Oneida Nation. He was an avid athlete, outdoorsman and enjoyed camping. He served in the Army National Guard from 1950 - 1953. Donald worked for Bake-Rite Baking Company for 31 years and then for the City of Stevens Point until his retirement. Survivors include his Wife: Judy Aldrich, Custer, WI; Children: Holly (Steve) Colby, Ochaukee, WI; Colleen (Jim) Glodowski, Stevens Point, WI; Carol (Peter) Vleeshouwers, Wisconsin Rapids, WI; Cindy (Gary) Weisbrod, Custer, WI; Vicky (Rick) Chojnacki, Stevens Point, WI; Donald (Kimberly) Aldrich, Amherst, WI; Grandchildren: Carolyn, Dana, A.J., Dylan, Abby, Drew, Brett, Morgan and Paige; Three Great Grandchildren and Siblings: Essie Pierce, Stevens Point, WI; Nancy (Bob) Kozlowski, Kenosha, WI and Dennis (Bonnie) Aldrich, Kenosha, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Lyle, Inez, Patricia and Marcella. Funeral Services will be held at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 16, 2012, with Bob Brown, officiating. Interment will be in the Lower Amherst Cemetery, Town of Amherst, Portage County. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in the name of Donald A. Aldrich.
