Donald "Don" N. Oftedahl's Obituary
Donald “Don” Oftedahl, age 80 of Weyauwega, formerly of Almond, WI passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2023. Don was born on October 10, 1942; son of the late Harald and Lina (Hansen) Oftedahl, in Chicago, IL. He worked as a Forklift Operator at the Waupaca Foundry for 20 years, drove semi, became a drug and alcohol counselor and ended his working years as an instructor for drugs and alcohol. Don married Martha Stucker on November 12, 1963 in Almond, WI; divorced 19 years later.
Don is survived by his children; Shelley (Alan) Mehne, Todd Oftedahl, Richard (Tammy) Oftedahl, grandchildren; Matthew Mehne, Colby (Brandon) McCormick, Anthony Oftedahl, Nicholas Oftedahl, many great-grandchildren; ex-wife; Martha Kies and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Don was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Agnes and brother, Alvin.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Spiritland Cemetery in Almond, WI. Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
