Donald H. Mancl's Obituary
Donald H. Mancl, age 70, of Wild Rose, WI, passed away Monday, January 25, 2010 at Wild Rose Community Memorial Hospital. Don was born in Wisconsin Rapids, WI on October 7, 1939, the son of the late Henry and Margaret (Schingo) Mancl. He worked for many years as carpenter and was also the former owner of the Wild Rose Bowling Lanes. Don loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing but especially ice fishing out West. He is also a life time member of the Wild Rose Fire Department. Don is survived by his children: Timothy (Terri) Mancl, Wautoma, WI; Todd (Pam) Mancl, Port Edwards, WI; his grandchildren: Jennifer, Amy, Brian, Andrew, Krystine & Austin; his sister: Diane (Maurice) Micke, Rhinelander, WI and his special friend: Athena O'Kon, Wild Rose, WI. He is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by and infant son, Randy. A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, Jan. 30 at 11 AM at Hope Lutheran Church in Wautoma with Reverend Nathan Gauerke, officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday morning from 10 AM until the time of services at the church. Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose is assisting the family with arrangements.
