Donald L. Johnson's Obituary
Donald L. Johnson, age 83, of Amherst, Wisconsin, formerly of Milwaukee, passed away Friday, September 8th, 2006 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield,Wisconsin. Mr. Johnson was born in Amherst Jct, Wisconsin on July 16, 1923, he was the son of the late Elmer and Pearl (Rollefson) Johnson. On July 20, 1955, he married Mary C. Schien in West Allis. She preceded him in death. He was a member of Nelsonville Lutheran Church in Nelsonville, Wisconsin. Donald is survived by Sisters: Lorraine Packer, Amherst. Brothers: Rev. Eldred (Orpha) Johnson, Turtle Lake, North Dakota; Rev. Roger (Karen) Johnson, Brandon, South Dakota; Step Daughter: Darlene (Bob) Hurst, Sarasota, FL; Step Granddaughters: Pauline Burton, Sarasota, Fl; Carla Russell, Sarasota, FL. Don is also survived by four Step Great Grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews other relatives and friends. Don was preceded in death by his Parents, Wife: Mary; Sister: Aileen Alm; Brothers: Norris & Harold Johnson. Funeral Service will be held at Nelsonville Lutheran Church at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 12th, with Reverend Dwight Anderson officiating. Interment will be in the Nelsonville Lutheran Cemetery Town of New Hope, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 12 noon-2 P.M. at Nelsonville Lutheran Church.
