age 84 – died on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Appleton Medical Center in Appleton, WI. He was born on March 23, 1928 in Dorchester, WI, the son of William and Freda (Kinzel) Lueddecke. He married Nancy Pope on December 22, 1970 at the Emmaus Ev. Lutheran Church in the Township of Lind, Waupaca Co., WI.
Donald is survived by his wife, Nancy, a son: Todd Lueddecke of Dale, WI, a granddaughter: Taylor Lueddecke of Waupaca, WI, and a niece: Connie (Mike) Schmitt of Stetsonville, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
Donald was a member of the Emmaus Ev. Lutheran Church in the Twp. of Lind, Waupaca County. He had been a milk hauler for the Star Dairy in Weyauwega for over 25 years. He had also owned and operated the Black Saddle Riding Stable in Waupaca for many years. He had a real love for raising horses and beef cattle. Donald had also been a member of the New London Masonic Lodge for many years.
A memorial service will be held at the Emmaus Ev. Lutheran Church in the Township of Lind, Waupaca County on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013 at 11:00 AM, with the Rev. Horst W. Jordan – Pastor, officiating. A visitation will be held at the church on Saturday morning from 9:30 – 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in memory of Donald. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
