Donald M. Dayton's Obituary
Donald M. Dayton age 76, of Waupaca passed away on March 1, 2010 at his residence. Donald was born on April 11, 1933, the son of Howard and Winnifred (Schumacher) Dayton. Donald married Lila Hansen on July 26, 1996 in Waupaca.
Donald is survived by his wife Lila Dayton of Waupaca, three sons Kenneth Dayton (Louise) Dayton of Waupaca, Michael Dayton of Waupaca, and James Dayton of Waupaca; nine step-children, five grandchildren, and eighteen step-grandchildren; two brothers Earl (Marlene) Dayton, and Robert (Dorothy) Dayton; two sisters Donna (Carl) Zank, and Patricia (Roger) Mallory; one sister-in-law Sylvia Dayton, many other nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Donald was preceded in death by his first wife Doris Dayton; his parents Howard and Winnifred Dayton; one sister Ruby Frost; and one brother Darryl Dayton.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 6, 2010 at 12 noon at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca. Chaplain Jim Frank will officiate. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday at the Holly Funeral Home from 10 A.M. until the time of the service. Burial will take place in the spring at Lakeside Cemetery in Waupaca.
