Age 74 - died on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Bethany Home in Waupaca, WI. She was born on January 26, 1937 in Neenah, WI, the daughter of Gordon and Evelyn (Halle) Meyer. She was married to Marvin Wiegert.
Donna is survived by her children; Jesse (Anne) Wiegert of Waupaca, Jessica (Pat) Bruneau of Weyauwega, Betsy (Paul) Jensen of High Bridge, Timothy (Bonnie) Zimmermen of Menominee, MI, and Rachel (Dale) Stiebs of Waupaca, 16 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, a brother, Dusty, two sisters, Sondra and Barbara, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin, her son, Kim, her parents, and a brother, Jesse.
She had been homemaker for most of her life. She enjoyed the arts, music, and crafting, and she also had a love for animals.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 8, 2011 at Noon at Shepherd of The Lakes Church in Waupaca, with Rev. Dave Martin, officiating. A visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 10:00 am until Noon. Interment will be in the Spencer Lake Memorial Park Cemetery near Waupaca. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in the name of Donna Grace Meyer Wiegert. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
