Donna K. Johanknecht's Obituary
Age 76, passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2010 at Crystal River Nursing Home in Waupaca, WI. She was born March 12, 1934 in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of the late Everette and Kathryn (Walsh) Jenkins. She was united in marriage on September 10, 1962 to Jerry Johanknecht. Donna was an x-ray technician at Riverside Medical Center for 39 years. She enjoyed being with her family and watching her grandchildren. She loved her dog, Molly, and enjoyed going to the casino. Donna is survived by her Husband: Jerry Johanknecht of Waupaca, WI; Four Daughters: Julie (Eric) Modrow of Waupaca, WI; Joni (Jeff) Van Zummeren of Medina, Ohio; Ronda (Mike) Glass of Waupaca, WI; Renee (Steve) Brueggeman of Greenville, WI; 11 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Everette and Kathryn Jenkins; her step-mother, Helen Jenkins; two grandsons, Tristan Glass and Bret Brueggeman; and a sister, Joan Brady. A Funeral Service will be on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI. Pastor Jeff Fletcher will officiate. A visitation will be held on Friday evening, April 23, from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca. Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Park following the service on Saturday. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements. Donna's family would like to give a special thank-you to the staff at Crystal River Nursing Home and Theda Care At Home Hospice for all of their kind and compassionate care.
