DONNA J. SCHROEDER
WAUAPCA, WI Age 84 – found peace on Thursday, March 1, 2007. She was born on October 14, 1922 in Waupaca, WI, a daughter of the late Frank and Adah (Lewis) Lubenetski. She married Lewis Schroeder on June 5, 1947 in Waupaca, WI. He preceded her in death on February 17, 1979. Donna is survived by her daughter: Diane Ketner of Waupaca , WI (Special Friend: Jerry Hanson of Oshkosh, WI) two sons: Scott (Maureen) Schroeder of New Berlin, WI, David R. Schroeder (Dr. Cheryl Bonert) of Ripon, WI, and five grandchildren: Chad Ketner, Angie (Nick) Stilwell, Cpl. Lewis Schroeder, USMC (currently serving in Iraq), Ashley Schroeder, and Kodi Schroeder. She was preceded in death by her husband: Lewis, her parents, and a sister, Alice Lund. Donna had been a very active member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church of Waupaca, WI. Her two loves were her family and her church. A funeral mass will be held at the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Waupaca, WI on Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at 11:00 AM, with the Reverend Father James Vennix, officiating. Interment will be in the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at King, WI. Friends may call at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI on Monday evening from 5:00 – 8:00 PM, and at the church on Tuesday morning from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. A Prayer service will be held on Monday evening at 7:30 PM at the Holly Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in the name of Donna Schroeder. Donna’s children would like to thank family and friends for all their love, encouragement, and prayers. A special thank you to Lori. They would also like to extend a sincere thank you to Affinity Hospice for the kind and gentle care extended to their mother. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
