Donna Stratton's Obituary
DONNA M. STRATTON
WAUPACA, WISCONSIN Age 79, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2008 at Bethany Home in Waupaca, WI. She was born December 26, 1928 in the Town of St. Lawrence, Waupaca Co., WI; daughter of Fred and Della (Darling) Stratton. Donna worked in the banking profession for many years, retiring as a branch manager from Farmer’s State Bank in Waupaca. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Waupaca Charter # 107. Donna enjoyed being with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved flowers, music, playing bridge, and traveling. Donna was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Waupaca. Donna is survived by:
Son: Donald (Brenda) Kempf of Beloit, WI and their children: Jason, Sara, and Eric Kempf
Son: Dennis (JoAnne) Kempf of Berlin, WI and their children: Matthew Kempf and Kristy (Derek) Kresal
Great-Grandchildren: Paige, Madeline, Addison, and Trenton She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Della Stratton, sister, Mildred (Edward) Laport, and three brothers, Sylvester, Everett, and Eugene Guthu. A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 3:00 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI. Reverend Cathy J.N. Weigand will officiate. A visitation will be held from 1:30 – 3:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crystal Lake Cemetery in the Town of Dayton following the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in the name of Donna M. Stratton. The Holly Funeral home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements. HOLLY FUNERAL HOME
