Doris A. Goodfellow's Obituary
Doris A. Goodfellow, age 91, of Plover, WI, passed away on Monday, December 17th, 2018 at Maple Ridge Assisted Living in Plover. She was born in Townsend, WI on December 18, 1926, a daughter of the late C. Emil and Lena (Geigel) Duwe.
Doris married Dale Goodfellow, Sr. on June 26, 1948 in Milwaukee, WI. He preceded her in death on April 29, 1990. She was a member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church. Doris retired from Blue Cross/Blue Shield in Milwaukee after working there for 25 years. She had volunteered for over 22 years at Lincoln Center for Seniors in Stevens Point.
Survivors include her Sons: John (Claire) Goodfellow, Milwaukee, WI.; Dale Goodfellow, Jr., Plover, WI.; Mark A. (Mary) Goodfellow, Mukwanago, WI; Five Grandchildren; Five Great Grandchildren; Brother: Carl (Delores) Duwe, Sussex, WI; Sister-in-law: Joy Heideman, Merrill, WI. She was preceded in death by her husband: Dale Goodfellow, Sr., a daughter: Lynn Goodfellow, a grandson: Shawn A. Goodfellow, a daughter-in-law, Lee Ann, her twin brother and wife: Roy & Betty Duwe, her sister-in-law and husband: Mardelle and Einar Ingman and her brother-in-law: Norman Heideman.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, Town of Buena Vista, Portage County, WI at 11:30 AM on Friday, December 21, 2018, with Father Peter Manickam, officiating. Interment will be held at a later date at Oak Hill Cemetery, Town of Skanawan, Lincoln Co., WI. Visitation will be held on Friday from 10 AM until the time of the service at the church.
