Doris M. Mutchie
Racine, WI (Formerly of Wild Rose, WI) Age 74 – died on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Ridgewood Care Center in Racine, WI. She was born on August 18, 1936 in Bloomer, WI, the daughter of Gilbert and Mae (Stoda) Gravunder. She married Lawrence Mutchie on October 22, 1955 in Bloomer, WI. He preceded her in death on July 7, 1999.
Doris is survived by three daughters; Lois Mutchie of Poy Sippi, Linda (Brian) Moe of Port Washington, and Laura (Jeff) Behrens of Racine, two sons; Larry (Barbara) Mutchie of Racine, and Lee (Jennifer) Mutchie of Union Grove, WI, twelve grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. She is further survived by her brother; Roger (Sandy) Gravunder of Racine, nieces, nephews, and many cousins who loved her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence, and her parents.
Doris loved and cherished the times she could spend with her children, grandchildren, and other family members.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose, WI, with Rev. Bob Hanson, officiating. Interment will be in the Caersalem Cemetery, Township of Springwater, Waushara County, WI. A visitation will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose on Wednesday from Noon until the time of the service. The Holly Funeral Home of Wild Rose, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
The family would like to extend a loving thank you to the staff of the Ridgewood Care Center of Racine for the loving care given to Doris while she was a resident there. They also extend a special thank you to her nurse practitioner, Jerry.
