age 84 - died on Friday, August 13, 2010 at Bethany Home in Waupaca, WI. She was born on June 7, 1926 in Waupaca County, WI, the daughter of Benjamin Nohr and Pauline (Sarnowski) Nohr.
Doris is survived by two brothers, Raymond (Carol Joy) Nohr of Manawa, and Willard (Carol) Nohr of Wild Rose. She is further survived by nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Benjamin Nohr, her mother, Pauline Nohr, two sisters, Betty Patterson and Lucille Caves, and a nephew, Dennis Patterson.
Doris had been very active in her church through the years, first at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church at Heffron, and more recently at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wautoma.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wautoma, WI on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at 11:00 AM, with Father Brian Belongia, officiating. Interment will be in the Hope Cemetery, Township of Belmont, Portage County, WI. A visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday morning from 10:00 - 11:00 AM. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
