DORIS J. PETERSON
WAUPACA, WI Age 91 – died on Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at Lakeview Manor in Weyauwega, WI. She was born on February 13, 1915 in the Township of Saxeville, Waushara County, WI, a daughter of the late Nels Peter and Florence (Halsey) Nelson. She married Edward J. Peterson on February 7, 1943 in Kaukauna, WI. Doris is survived by her husband: Edward, a son: Gary Peterson of Brookfield, WI, a daughter: Carol (Joe) Wutkevicz of Appleton, WI, four grandchildren: Kelly Peterson, Keri (Dave) Corson, Jodi Young, and Nicole Peterson, four great grandchildren: Ashley, Alex, Jessica, and Chloe, and a great great granddaughter: Nevaeh. She is also survived by two sisters: Beatrice Rose of Waupaca, WI, and Hazel (Jack) Madson of Amherst, WI, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers: Lloyd, twin brother, Morris, Maynard, and Kenneth, and a sister: Fern Nackers. Doris had been employed in the Food Service department at the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King, WI for 22 years, retiring in 1976. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2006 at 1:00 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI, with Rev. Dr. Charles Tews, Pastor, Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at King, WI. Friends may call at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca on Saturday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements. You will always be remembered and never forgotten!!
