Doris E. Wallace's Obituary
Doris E. Wallace, age 91, of Scandinavia, WI passed away on Friday, July 18, 2014 at the Stevens Point Care Center. Doris was born in Antigo, WI on October 3, 1922, the daughter of the late William and Edna (Lawton) Gilman. On October 20, 1949, Doris married William T. Wallace in Amherst and he preceded her in death on January 5, 2007.
Doris is survived by her daughter: Tanna (Donald) Anthony, Scandinavia; her grandsons: Teagan (Sharmista) Anthony; William (Angela) Anthony; Sage (Diane) Anthony; Gilman (Melanie) Anthony and Logan Anthony; her great-grandsons: Jeremy, Brandon, Jacob, Barrett, Kordell, Julian, Silas, Gabriel, Liam & Abraham and her great-granddaughters: Jade, Ruby, Hosanna, Abagail & Elycia. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bill, a grandson, 2 great grandsons and 2 great granddaughters.
The Memorial Service will be on Friday, July 25 at 6 PM at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst with Donald Anthony, officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery, Amherst. Visitation will be on Friday afternoon from 4 PM to 6 PM at the funeral home. Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst is assisting the family with arrangements.
