Dorothy L. Ferge's Obituary
Dorothy L. Ferge age 86 of Waupaca, WI. died on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at her residence. She was born on July 6, 1934 in Sheboygan, WI; daughter of Edwin and Anne Liders.
Dorothy was a nurse’s aide for St. Joe’s Nursing Home in New London, WI until the time of her retirement. She enjoyed growing flowers, painting, crocheting and feeding birds but most of all, she was a great mother and cared very much about others.
Dorothy is survived by two daughters, Shirley Brown of Waupaca, WI and Theresa (James) Wilson of Redgranite, WI; two grandsons, Timothy and Michael; nephew, Gary (Shelia) Feavel of North Port, WI; many step children and step grandchildren.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, James Brown; second husband, Clarence Ferge; one son, James Brown; three brothers, Wally, Lester and Willie Liders; and two sisters, Ruth Feavel and Catherine Woeshnick.
A memorial service will be on Friday, March 5th at 11:00 a.m. at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI. Visitation will be on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. Holly Funeral home wants to remind the public that no more than 75 people will be allowed in the funeral home at one time with the wearing of masks and physical distancing observed. We sincerely encourage each person to make your decision whether to attend a visitation and/or service based on the best interest of your health and that of your community.
