Dorothy Ann Halverson, 92, passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 2, 2020 at Park Vista-The Legacy in Waupaca WI. She was born March 3,1928 in Monroe, Wisconsin, the only child of Conrad and Emma (Roethlisberger) Stauffacher. Read Obituary
Meant to and have been thinking about your Mom but haven't been able to find the words good enough for her great goodness. The bright spirit within her glowed from her start in her presence. Dorothy was such a joy to be around! She attended many of our family Christmas gatherings and also went with us to Cheese Days in Monroe, Wisc. I was so happy she agreed to be my traveling partner on a trip to Switzerland. It was great to travel with someone who could help with the language and even do a little yodeling! We share the same first name, but she always called herself "Dorothy with the gray hair" as a way to distinguish us. I have many fond memories of her. She will be missed!
Working with Dorothy at the Middle School was a wonderful time in my life. She was truly a friend.
Your family will have many many precious memories of your Mom. It is hard to let them go, but her life touched so many with fun and happiness ... she made her time worth it and you were lucky for sharing it with her. My Mom adored her, as did so so many. Be at peace.
Dorothy has such a beautiful soul. We were only neighbors for a short time but felt that Dorothy and Ken were part of our family. She will be missed in this realm, but she is now, once again, with Ken...in a place we all hope to be able to spend eternity! We Love You Dorothy, rest in peace. Dorothy was always a smiling face at Park Vista when I would go in to visit my dad, Eugene Bosetti. I also remember her from the school office. Wonderful lady. God bless you and your family.
I have many fond memories of her at church: singing in choir, working in the kitchen, always with her sparkling eyes, bright smile and laughter! Praying for God’s comforting peace as you remember her.
I will always remember her in the middle school office, trips to golf lessons, many First Church memories for Jeff and I . Leah and Jessica also have many happy memories form church. She was also a great greeter at Park Vista ! Holding you in our thoughts and prayers!

Dorothy was like a grandma to our son and daughter as they were growing up. She regularly attended dance recitals, school events and holiday celebrations with our family. Her warm heart and quick wit brought smiles to all she met. She will be missed.
