Dorothy Heger's Obituary
Dorothy A. Heger, age 90, of Weyauwega, formerly of Ogdensburg, passed away on Monday, May 12th, 2008 at Lakeview Manor in Weyauwega. She was born in Bowler, WI. on November 11, 1917, a daughter of the late William and Emma (Wolff) Steinke. Dorothy married Mark Heger on June 10, 1935 in Bowler. He preceded her in death on May 23, 1966. Survivors include 5 Sons: Mark (Sandra) Heger Jr., Ogdensburg, WI; Glenn (Rose) Heger, Ogdensburg, WI; Gordon (Jeanne) Heger, Waupaca, WI; Kenneth (Charlotte) Heger, Waupaca, WI; Donald (Theresa) Heger, Waupaca, WI; 3 Daughters: Dorothy (Joseph) Manweiler, Westfield, WI; Marilyn (Gilbert) Behm, Ogdensburg, WI; JoAnn Jorgenson, Waupaca, WI. She is further survived by 22 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; 4 step great grandchildren and 6 step great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a daughter Carole Dieringer, grandson - Scott Heger, infant sister - Anna Steinke, son-in-law, John Baker, special friend, Verlin (Chub) Grove and six sisters and four brothers. Funeral Services will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca at 1 PM on Friday, May 16th, 2008 with Reverend Eugene Gauerke officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Bowler, WI., at a later date. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 until 8 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca and on Friday, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. A memorial has been established in the name of Dorothy A. Heger. The family would like to thank Lakeview Manor for all the excellent care and love our Mother recieved while living with you, everyone from laundry, kitchen, nursing and general care. Thank you!!.
