DOROTHY M. (FRIES) JACOBSON
WAUPACA, WISCONSIN Age 85, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at Lakeview Manor in Weyauwega, WI. She was born May 2, 1924 in the Town of Waupaca, WI; daughter of Carl J. and Clara E. (Rasmussen) Fries. On November 19, 1966, Dorothy married Louis B. Jacobson in Waupaca, WI. He preceded her in death on June 24, 1972. Dorothy is survived by:

Richard Packer of Kohler, WI

Also survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Clara Fries; her husband, Louis Jacobson; two sisters, Dagny Barden and Edel (John) Packer; and a brother-in-law, Horace Dunkley. A Funeral Service will be on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI. Pastor Jennifer DeNetz will officiate. A visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 AM on Saturday at the Holly Funeral Home. Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Park following the services on Saturday. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements. A special thank-you to Lakeview Manor and their staff for all of the help and support given to our family.
