DOROTHY R. JOHNSON
WAUPACA, WISCONSIN Age 98, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2009 at Bethany Home in Waupaca, WI. She was born April 2, 1910 in Waupaca, WI; daughter of Fred and Rose (Miller) Dahm. On November 5, 1929, Dorothy married Clarence Johnson in Waupaca. He preceded her in death on March 28, 1988. Dorothy enjoyed playing sheepshead with her card club since 1949. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church – Priscilla Circle, Riverside Medical Center – Auxiliary, charter member of the Danish Brotherhood, and the Rebekah Lodge in Waupaca. Sister-in-law: Katherine Hansen of Waupaca, WI She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Rose Dahm; husband, Clarence Johnson; and two brothers, Frederick “Fritz” Dahm and Robert Dahm. A Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca, WI. Reverend Dr. Charles L. Tews will officiate. A visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the church on Tuesday. Burial will be in the spring at Lakeside Memorial Park in Waupaca. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to Bethany Home in Waupaca or to the Ladies Auxiliary at Trinity Lutheran Church.
