Dorothy M. Youngson's Obituary
Dorothy M. Youngson, age 94, of Waupaca, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah. Dorothy was born in the Town of Lind, Waupaca County on August 2, 1917, the daughter of the late Alfred and Olena (Nielsen) Anderson. On June 12, 1943, Dorothy married Kenneth P. Youngson in Waupaca and he preceded her in death on March 5, 1969. She taught for over 40 years in several Waupaca County Schools. Dorothy is survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, grand nieces and nephews and great grand nieces and nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five sisters; Anita M. Anderson, Ansonia J. Stommel, Cleo I. Larsen, Ruth I. Geldernick and Shirley J. Anderson; one brother, Arlington Anderson; nephews, Douglas and Dennis Larsen and a niece, Donna Stommel. Also four brothers-in-law; Marvin Anderson, Peter Geldernick, Dan Stommel and Gordon Larsen. The Funeral Service will be on Saturday, December 3 at 11 AM at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca with Reverend Dr. Charles Tews, officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday morning from 10 AM until the time of services. Burial will follow in Lakeside Memorial Park, Waupaca. A Memorial has been established in Dorothy's name. Holly Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
