Dorothy Stevens' Obituary
Dorothy L. Stevens, age 76, of Ogdensburg, Wisconsin, passed away Easter Sunday, March 27th, 2005 at her home with her family by her side. She was born in the Town of St. Lawrence, Waupaca County, Wisconsin on May 2, 1928, the daughter of Chris and Doris (Owen) Olson. Dorothy married Myles Stevens on January 16, 1970 in Ogdensburg. She was a long time employee of the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King. Dorothy loved to watch sports - especially the Packers. She is survived by Husband: Myles Stevens, Ogdensburg, WI; Son: Harlan (Dale) Phelps Jr., Mt. Grove, MO; Daughters: Judy (Dan) Andrews, Waupaca, WI; Dorene Weed, Ogdensburg, WI; Step Daughters: Pam (Pat) O'Brien, Manawa, WI; Tara (Norm) Heise, Manawa, WI; Grandchildren: Vicki (Scott) Rosendahl, Sheri (Dan) Gotto, John (Sharon) Andrews, Christoper (Cindy) Weed, Alan Weed, Josh Phelps, Tara O'Brien, Bette (Glenn) Casey, Joseph (Mary) O'Brien, Matthew (Shannon) O'Brien, Mark (Andrea) O'Brien, Paula (fiance John Sturm) Heise, and Nicholas (Casey) Heise; 11 great grandsons and 5 great granddaughters. Dorothy is further survived by a brother, Allen (Pat) Olson; two sisters, Doris (Polly) Kadolph and Arwyn Poppe; brother-in-law, Roger (Carol) Stevens and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Wayne L. Phelps; brother, Phil Olson and two sisters, Bonnie Geske and Katie Gresen. A Funeral Service will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 31st, 2005 with son-in-law, Pat O'Brien officiating. Burial will be in the Park Cemetery in the Town of St. Lawrence. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4 - 8 PM at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca and again on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
