Dorothy Wood's Obituary
Dorothy Jean Wood (nee Godfrey) Of Waukesha, died on Thursday, August 9, 2007 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 81. Dorothy was born on November 2, 1925 in Waupaca the daughter of Myron and Mabel (nee Nelson) Godfrey. Dorothy will be sadly missed by her children, Nancy (Tim) Covell of Alaska, Linda Grimm of Waukesha and Thomas Wood of Milwaukee; grandchildren, Angela (Adam) Pearson and Jason Grimm and Amy (Dave) Brueland; great grandsons, Calvin and Henry Pearson, brother; Thomas (Eloise) Godfrey of Waupaca; brother-in-law, Tyler (Barbara) Wood and her dear friend, Bob Prochnow of Waupaca. Dorothy is further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin. A memorial service for Dorothy will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2007at 12:00 noon at the Holly Funeral Home, 526 S. Main St. in Waupaca with Rev Barry Shaw, officiating. A visitation will be held at 11:00AM until the time of service. Memorials in Dorothy’s name may be directed to the Salem United Methodist Church or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
