Douglas K. Copeland's Obituary
Douglas K. Copeland, age 74, of Iola, Wisconsin formerly of Waupaca, passed away Tuesday, April 10th, 2007 at the Tuscon Medical Center in Tuscon, Arizona. Doug was born in LaCrosse, Wisconsin on November 3, 1932. He was the son of the late Thomas H. and Josephine (Leibel) Copeland. On May 12, 1956, he married Marna (Williamson) Copeland in Minneapolis. Doug was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Waupaca. He worked as a factory representative in the clothing industry. After retirement Doug helped Marna operate Gentry LTD in Waupaca for many years. He enjoyed golfing, and later became a certified instructor of golf. Doug was a member of Glacier Wood Golf Course in Iola where he and Marna liked spending time together with family and friends. He is survived by Wife Marna J. Copeland, Iola; Daughter: Barb Conradt, Waupaca, WI; Son: Thomas Copeland, Salzburg, Austria; Grandchildren: Kari Conradt, Stevens Point; Kyle Conradt, Waupaca; Brothers: Thomas H. (Delores) Copeland Jr., Encinitas, California; Roger (Mary) Copeland, Olathe, Kansas. Doug was preceded in death by his parents, one son in law: Keith Conradt. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Waupaca on Saturday April 21, 2007 at 11 AM. Father Brian Beno will officiate. Interment will be in the Lakeside Memorial Park in Waupaca. Visitation will be held Friday from 4-8 P.M. at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca. A.J. Holly & Sons LTD
