Dr. Edward Carelli's Obituary
Dr. Edward J. Carelli, age 92, of Waupaca, formerly of Kenosha, passed away on Monday, March 4th, 2013 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca. He was born in Kenosha, January 7, 1921, a son of the late Gene and Caroline (DeRose) Carelli. Edward married Janice Strangberg on July 7, 1944 in Kenosha. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He had been a member of the Wisconsin Dental Society and the Kenosha Optimist Club. He enjoyed woodworking and reading. Edward was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Waupaca. Survivors include his Wife: Janice Carelli, Waupaca, WI; Children: Michael (Regina) Carelli, Silver Spring, MD; Jim (Robin) Carelli, Poynette, WI; Tom (Joann) Carelli, New London, WI; Grandchildren: Patrick Carelli, Silver Spring, MD; Daniel Carelli, Silver Spring, MD; Anne Carelli, Atlanta, GA; Anthony Carelli, Brooklyn, NY; Brian Carelli, New London, WI; Matt Carelli, New London, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Waupaca at 11 AM on Saturday, March 9th, 2013, with Father Amalraj Roche, officiating. Interment will be in the Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Town of Farmington, Waupaca Co., WI. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10 AM until the time of the service at the church. The family would like to thank all of the staff at Park Vista for their considerate and compassionate care.
