DR. JOHN F. BROWN
WAUPACA, WISCONSIN
FORMERLY OF MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN Age 79 passed away on Friday, November 7, 2008 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca, WI. He was born March 9, 1929 in Des Moines, Iowa; son of Elbert and Marguerite (Schwarz) Brown. On February 14, 1983, John married Joan F. Knuppel in Waukegan, IL. John was a Medical Doctor specializing in Internal Medicine in private practice in the Milwaukee area. He became a Medical Director and served at De Paul Rehabilitation Hospital in Milwaukee, Southern WI Center in Union Grove, and Milwaukee County Rehabilitation South. He retired from the medical profession in 1990. He was a Professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin and was a member of the American Medical Association. John enjoyed photography and developed and framed many of his pictures. He also enjoyed working on the computer, building things and camping. John is survived by:

Sisters: Joann and Yvonne He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Marguerite Brown. A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca. Reverend Eugene Gauerke will officiate. A visitation will be held from 10:00 –11:00 AM on Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in the name of Dr. John F. Brown.
