Dr. Roger Kjentvet's Obituary
Dr. Roger A. Kjentvet, age 79, of Wild Rose, WI died at his home surrounded by his family on Monday, March 21, 2005. He was born on May 30, 1925 in Eleva, WI the son of H. Levine and Amanda (Fosse) Kjentvet. Roger was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Navy as hospital corpsman. He married Viola Hoversholm on December 21, 1947 at Drammen Lutheran Church in Buffalo County. He graduated from UW-Madison Medical School in June, 1953, and subsequently became board certified in family practice. God called him to the Wild Rose area, where he was honored to practice medicine for 37 years. He is survived by:

Six grandchildren: Emily (Brian) Propst Ben (Kristi) Sommer David and Nicholas Katz Alayna and Garrik Kjentvet
One great-grandson: Keaton Propst
Two sisters: Amy Delsrude and Helen Christenson
One brother: Gordon (Jerrine) Kjentvet
One sister-in-law: Martha Ellen Kjentvet

Two brothers-in-law: Arnold Delsrude and Gordon Christenson A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 24, 2005 at the Mt. Morris Holden Lutheran Church with the Reverend Blaine MacNeil officiating. Burial will be at the Mt. Morris Holden Lutheran Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 4:00 until 8:00 PM on Wednesday at the Wild Rose High School Gymnasium and on Thursday at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. A memorial has been established. The Holly Funeral Home of Wild Rose assisted the family with arrangements.
