Dwight H. Bowden's Obituary
Dwight H. Bowden age 93 of Almond, passed away on Tuesday May 30, 2023. Dwight was born on September 20, 1929, the son of Alton and Esther (Weber) Bowden. Dwight married the late Marjory (Lea) on February 14, 1953. Dwight loved his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren very much. He was involved in the WSTA, the ITP, the Plainfield Lions Club and the Masonic Lodge #148, he loved to camp and travel.
Dwight is survived by his children Karen (Bob) Stardy of Union Grove, WI, Kathy Kehl of Plainfield, WI and Ron (Mikki) Bowden of Almond, WI; his grandchildren Kristy Werzinske, Kenny Waterson, Jenny (Joel) Vendittelli, Jake (Alysson) Bowden, Jordan (Hilary) Bowden and Samantha (Josiah) Fasula; a step grandchild Hank (Rachel) Sherman and Eight great grandchildren,
Dwight was preceded in death by his parents Alton and Esther Bowden; his wife Marjory Bowden; grandson Matthew Kehl and a sister Beulah (Dale) Severns.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday June 3, 2023 at the Almond United Methodist Church at 11 A.M. Jeremiah Bowden and Pastor Grace Cho will officiate with burial to follow at the Almond Village Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Friday June 2, 2023 from 4 P.M. until 7 P.M. at the Almond United Methodist Church and again on Saturday from 10 A.M. until the time of the service at 11 A.M. at the church. The Hardell-Holly Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
