Edna L. Groshek's Obituary
Edna L. Groshek, age 90, of Amherst, WI, passed away on Tuesday, July 9th, 2024 at Whispering Pines the Lodge in Plover. She was born in Galloway, WI on June 12, 1934, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Betker) Basinski.
She married Robert Groshek on June 26, 1954 in Stevens Point. He preceded her in death on October 7, 1997. Edna was a member of St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church.
Survivors include Sons: Mark (Susan) Groshek, Amherst Jct., WI; Wayne (Mary Ann) Groshek, Milwaukee, WI; Leon (Kim) Groshek, Jefferson, WI; Daughter: Brenda (Bryan) Dombrowski, Amherst Jct., WI; Grandchildren: Roy (Sabrina) Groshek; Brett (Erica) Groshek; Katie (Brad) Zelenak; Bryan (Kayla) Groshek; Staci (Ben) Groshek; Jacob (Chrissy) Daul; Great Grandchildren: Anthony, Nathan, Kylie, Emery, Ben; Step-Great Grandchildren: Anna and Evan. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Robert; sister, Isbelle (Frank) Knapp and brother, Stanley (Grace) Basinski.
The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church - Fancher at 11 AM on Monday, July 15th, 2024, with Father Jerzy Rebacz, officiating. Interment will be in the St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery, Town Stockton, Portage Co., WI. Visitation will be held on Monday, from 9 AM until the time of the service at the church.

Words alone can't express our gratitude towards the staff who not only cared for our mother with kindness, patience, laughter and most of all love, but, also became family and made it her home.
