I just learned if Edna's passing. Mrs. Riley was my 6th grade teacher in 1970 @ Amherst. I remember my first day with her, as she also was a teacher for dad in the 1950s, and telling stories about my dad. I remember Mrs. Riley, was caring, nuturing and was a truly professional teacher. My life since has taken me to far away places and I have accomplished many things in my pubkic service, but it all started way back when with having special teachers and role models in my life like Mrs. Riley.
