Edward D. Goetz's Obituary
Edward D. Goetz, age 94, of Wild Rose, WI died Friday, August 26, 2011. Edward was born in Milwaukee on January 22, 1917, the son of the late John and Janet (Zaworski) Goetz. On September 3, 1960 he married Lucile Wendlandt in Milwaukee and she preceded him in death on Jan. 22, 1987. Edward is survived by his sons; Douglas (Karen) Goetz, Germantown and Curt Goetz, Little Chute; his extended family, John (Claudia) Nehmer, Columbia, S. Carolina; the late Arnold (Jean) Nehmer, Milwaukee and Darlene (Herman) Schaefer, Wild Rose; 12 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren: his brothers: Richard Goetz, Florida; Carl (Judy) Goetz, Merton, WI and his sister: Ruth Gray, Elkhorn, WI. Ed was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be on Saturday, Sept. 3 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose. The Funeral Service will follow at 1 PM at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Wautoma. Carpenter by trade and employed by JVS for many years. Then retired to Wild Rose. Veteran of WW II. Favorite passions were fishing, hunting and the Packers. Ed will be dearly missed along with his big blue eyes and smile.
