Edward D. Kruger's Obituary
Edward D. Kruger, 72 formerly of Tomah, WI. Died Friday, November 01, 2019 at WI Veterans Home, Olson Hall in King, WI.
He was born on September 30, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois, son of the late Wilburn Charles Edward and Joan Marie (Vierendees) Kruger.
Edward was a Sargent First Class in the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam and a member of The Stephens Point Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Stevens Point.
He is survived by Step-Brothers, Bill Linsday of Tomah, Carl (Irene) Lindsey of Busy, Kentucky and Cecil Edward Benewitz of Illinois; Step-Sisters, Dee Ann Kline of Barry, Illinois and Debbie Ann Knops of Arizona; Brother: Wilburn Charles Kruger, Sister, Theresa Katherine Kruger; Nieces, Renee E. Deno of Sparta, WI and Sabrina L. Oetzman of Wisconsin and many great nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, May Spears Kruger, step-sisters, Mary Lee Hand and Fern Jones and step-brother, Charles Lindsay.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 8, 2019 at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca. Friends may call on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King, WI with full military honors.
