Ed sure loved his cows! Every once in a while he would bring home another calf, hoping “the wife won’t notice it”. He was so kind to let us borrow a wagon to give hay rides on our back field and to drop off a tractor bucket of manure for the garden. He would always take a few minutes to chat if we saw him outside before saying, “Well I better finish up these chores. My wife will have supper on”. We have fond memories of our neighbor/friend, Ed!
