EDWARD RASPOR E9 USMC-RETIRED
KING, WI (FORMERLY OF MILWAUKEE) Found eternal peace on August 24, 2006 at the age of 81. He is now dwelling along side the Lord, his parents, his beloved grandson: Scott, brother-in-law: Bill, niece: Danielle, and many fellow Marines. He is survived by his devoted wife: Beverly (Hansen) Raspor, his beloved daughter: Sandy (John) Lindquist and granddaughter: Kim (Collin) Gerdeman. He is further survived by a brother: Joseph (Desanka) Raspor, a sister: Mildred Polczynski and nieces and nephews: David (Linda), Gary (Sue), Todd (Christy), Chad, Brad, and Kari Polczynski, a sister-in-law: Carole (Wayne) Wehner and niece Kim Lavin. He is also survived by many relatives in Croatia, friends, and Marines met all over the world.
Ed retired from both the U.S. Marine Corps and the Soo Line Railroad. After suffering ill health Ed spent his last years at the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King, WI, where he received wonderful care from many kind and loving people. They were his angels on earth, and now he is with the angels in heaven. A special thank you to Dr. David Duppler and Dr. Noelle Dowling and Theda Care.
A funeral service will be held at the Wisconsin Memorial Park - Family Center - West North Chapel, 12875 W. Capitol Dr. in Brookfield, WI on Monday, August 28, 2006 at 11:00 AM. Military Rites and Entombment will follow the funeral service. Friends may call at the chapel one hour prior to the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Children’s’ Hospital, which was Ed’s special cause.
