So sorry to hear about your father's passing. I watched he and your mom walking on a daily basis by our home on Rural Road for many years. They were/are such kind people. They were very proud of their sons. They were great neighbors. They often came by for dinner or just to chat. Sometimes to retrieve their great dog from our front steps. They also included us in neighborhood events along Fern Ave. Their grandchildren often shared toys and memories on the Chain with my daughter Chelsea Spanbauer. Your mom made the best Christmas fruit cake with hard sauce which she shared with us for many years. Such fine people. Such a great couple. I know your mom will miss him. Please send her my regards. I am sorry for your loss. They lived a good life together full of love and friendships. I am in Arizona so will not be able to attend the service. Please let your mom know you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
