ELAINE C. NOWAK
OGDENSBURG, WISCONSIN Age 76, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2008 at Appleton Medical Center in Appleton, WI. She was born August 1932 in Waupaca, WI; daughter of William and Clara (Velte) Hanneman. On July 24, 1954, Elaine married Walter Nowak in Waupaca, WI. He preceded her in death on June 17, 2003. Elaine enjoyed going to the casino with her sister, playing cards, gardening, and spending time with her granddaughters, friends and family. She was a member of the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waupaca, WI. Elaine is survived by:

Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Clara Hanneman; her loving husband, Walter Nowak; two sisters, Lorraine Hanneman and Vivian Anderson; and two brothers, Alfred Hanneman and Victor Hanneman. A Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waupaca, WI. Reverends Jeffrey Holtan and Aaron Winkelman will officiate. A visitation will be held on Tuesday evening, December 9, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca and also on Wednesday from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will be on Wednesday at the Wolf River Cemetery in the Town of Wolf River, WI. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements. HOLLY FUNERAL HOME
