Eleanor was a wonderful lady who always made everyone feel special and welcome. We celebrate her life by trying to live our lives in the same way. Our condolences to the entire family.
I want to share a little story that I will always remember about Eleanor. My family owned Glacier Hollow Summer camp in Nelsonville. When my children were younger they would catch the school bus at the end of our driveway, which was also the public parking lot for the beach on Lake Elaine. I ran into Eleanor on one of her daily walks. She told me how she was so angry because she had found a
Beautifully written tribute and full of wonderful memories for our family. My middle daughter reminded me today of the 'pile' of toys in the corner of her house that she loved to play with and how Aunt Eleanor would talk and play with her whenever we visited. She remembers the Etch-a-Sketch because she did not have one at home. This daughter is now 32 yrs old and has this cherished memory of your Mother.
I last talked with Eleanor at the Nelsonville Rising Star Mill. She loved my Husband's butter churn and my Daughter's pottery. We talked about her moving to town. And became fast Friends. Having the

passing. She was an outstanding and active person in our community.
She and I liked rummaging together. I met up with her at many sales. Also, mothers got together and carpooled their children to St. Mary's school before there was equal busing to public and catholic schools. She was one of them.
