ELETHIA M. JENSEN
WAUPACA, WISCONSIN Age 89 passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at Bethany Home in Waupaca, WI. She was born October 2, 1918 in Waupaca, WI; daughter of Peter and Emma (Peterson) Johnson. On August 25, 1946, Elethia married Robert J. Jensen in Waupaca. He preceded her in death on April 26, 1970. In her spare time, Elethia enjoyed knitting, sewing, and crocheting for family and friends. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca. Elethia is survived by:
Daughters: Charlene (Fred) Egbert of Tigerton, WI
Linda (Dan) Herbold of Plover, WI
Seven Grandchildren
Five Great-Grandchildren
Sister: Katherine Hansen of Waupaca, WI
Sister-in-law: Dorothy Johnson of Waupaca, WI
Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert Jensen, sister, Clara Plowman, brother, Clarence Johnson, and two brothers-in-law, Harold Plowman and Levi Hansen. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 25, 2008 at 1:30 pm at the Bethany Home Chapel at Bethany Home in Waupaca, WI. Pastor Gene Gauerke and Pastor Jennifer DeNetz will officiate. A visitation will be held from 1:00 – 1:30 pm on Friday at the chapel. Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Park in Waupaca in the spring.
